Travelodge & Greggs, Bristol

What we built.

The development comprised a concrete-frame Travelodge hotel, a new Greggs drive-thru unit and associated external works, parking and infrastructure. A major drainage diversion formed a critical part of the enabling works, unlocking the site and allowing the wider development to progress.
Located within Abbeywood Retail Park and directly opposite an MOD site, the project required careful planning and coordination with surrounding infrastructure, existing retail operations and multiple site interfaces.

The Travelodge was delivered to stringent fire safety and acoustic performance criteria, with detailed consideration given to compartmentation, acoustic separation and the interfaces between building elements. These requirements were successfully integrated throughout construction, ensuring the completed hotel met Travelodge’s standards for safety, comfort and operational performance.
